Shooting on the new Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travolta-starring thriller 'From Paris with Love' in a Paris suburb has been suspended after an arson attack.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film was shooting in the tough Paris suburb Montfermeil when 10 cars belonging to the production team were burned out.
Following the attack, writer-producer Luc Besson and the production team decided to halt shooting in Montfermeil on the $55m thriller.
Montfermeil's Mayor, Xavier Lemoine, said: "It's a real shame. The project should have been gratifying and valuable for everyone."
'From Paris with Love' tells the story of an embassy worker and a US secret agent on a mission in the French capital.
