Singer Katy Perry has been announced as the host of this year's MTV Europe Music Awards.
Billboard reports that the ceremony takes place in Liverpool on 6 November.
Perry is nominated in two categories: Best New Act and Most Addictive Track ('I Kissed a Girl').
Among the guest award presenters at this year's show are Solange Knowles, Sugababes and Tokio Hotel, with Beyoncé Knowles, The Killers, Pink, Duffy and Kid Rock set to perform on the night.
