'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue has hit back at former contestant Suzie Furlonger, dismissing her accusations in relation to mentoring on the show.
Furlonger, who was eliminated before the live shows, told reporters that Minogue only spent about 45 minutes with each of her acts in St Tropez before deciding on her final three.
In an interview with Closer magazine, Minogue responded, saying: "I couldn't believe it when I read the story."
"The hardest bit about the Judges' Homes is having to say goodbye to three great singers."
"I was upset to see that Suzie had gone to the press saying I didn't mentor her or spend any time with her or the others."
"To fill you in Suzie – we're separated from the contestants by the producers. We’re only allowed to see you in front of the cameras filming your final performance. I wish this had been explained to you."
"Ironically I was desperate to speak to them all, so as soon as filming finished I went to hang out with my contestants to see how they were.”
