Former 'EastEnders' star Jessie Wallace is the latest contestant to be voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

Wallace and partner Darren Bennett were placed in the bottom two along with singer Heather Small and her professional dance partner Brian Fortuna after the public vote.

Both couples danced a quickstep in the dance-off, with judges Craig Revel Horwood, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli choosing to save Small and Fortuna.

Head judge Len Goodman favoured Wallace and Bennett.

"I thought Jessie and Darren improved the most during that performance. Both couples made mistakes, but my vote was with them," he said.

Wallace said of her time on the show: "I wish it could've been longer but that's the game. I've had a wicked time, Darren's brilliant."

On this Saturday's show the male and female celebrity contestants will dance against each other for the first time.
