RTÉ and ITV have commissioned a new four-part thriller from 'Prime Suspect' writer Frank Deasy.
'Father & Son' stars Dougray Scott, Stephen Rea, Sophie Okonedo and Ian Hart and tells the story of Michael O’Connor (Scott), a former criminal who returns to Manchester from Ireland to save his son from prison and also to come to terms with his own past.
The series is currently filming in Ireland and Manchester with 'The Tudors' director Brian Kirk directing.
It is the first co-commissioned drama by RTÉ and ITV.
