'Californication' star David Duchovny has checked out of a rehabilitation centre for sex addiction.
People.com reports that the announcement was made by his lawyer Stanton 'Larry' Stein. Stein said "David is out of rehab and about to start a new movie. He has successfully completed his treatment."
The 48-year-old actor entered the treatment facility in August. At that time in a statement released by his lawyer, Duchovny said: "I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction. I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family."
The former 'X-Files' star is married to actress Téa Leoni and they have two children.
