Actress Karen Henthorn has hinted that she may return to 'Coronation Street' in the future.
The actress, who plays Teresa Byrant in the soap, is due to leave next month when her family, the Mortons, exit the show.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Henthorn said: "The Mortons have gone now, apart from Darryl."
"They have said that hopefully, once the dust has settled on the poisoning [storyline], they'd like to know if I want to come back."
"It's not an offer, but they'd like me to come back next year... maybe as more of an independent character."
