Location filming by the makers of 'Coronation Street' led to UK police being called to a remote farmhouse last night after neighbours heard screaming.
Digitalspy reports that concerned people in the locality contacted police after hearing a woman calling for help. Actress Helen Flanagan, who plays Rosie Webster, was heard screaming for assistance.
Scenes were being shot at a farmhouse which disgraced school-teacher John Stape played by Graeme Hawley has just inherited. It has emerged that Stape, who returned recently to the street to work as a taxi driver, is holding Rosie captive. Stape blames Rosie for the break-up of his relationship with Fiz.
A spokesperson for the programme said: "We apologise to anyone unduly concerned. Due to the nature of the scenes, which are extremely dramatic, they did require Helen to scream very loudly."
