Illusionist David Blaine has finished his upside-down stunt with a so-called 'Dive of Death' at New York's Central Park.
The 35-year-old magician had dangled from a cable attached to a scaffold structure over Wollman Rink for 60 hours.
After ending his suspension challenge, Blaine plummeted 44 feet from the top of the scaffold, swinging briefly from an attached cable.
He then ascended and appeared to disappear into the night sky high above the park.
During a live telecast Blaine also signed autographs for fans and performed card tricks.
The illusionist did, however, receive criticism from some fans who felt that he had taken too many breaks during the challenge.
During his rest periods Blaine pulled himself upright and took drinks.
