Assistant brand manager David Neary has become the first contestant to be fired on the Irish version of 'The Apprentice'.
The 25-year-old from Castlebar was sacked by 'The Apprentice' boss Bill Cullen after the boys' team lost their first challenge.
Both teams were sent to Moore Street in Dublin to sell fruit as part of their challenge, with the girls' team Phoenix making a bigger profit than the boys' team Dynamo.
Speaking on 'Ireland AM', Neary said: "It's obviously very cringeworthy stuff."
Referring to the moment he was fired, Neary said: "In that scene there, you're just not seeing that fight back that I gave. I think it was slightly edited a bit."
"When it comes to the crunch time you have to go into that boardroom literally with your fists up."
"I was practically walking out of that boardroom with the bell around my neck I was made such a scapegoat."
