MTV is set to go ahead with a planned ‘Hills’ spinoff which will feature Lauren Conrad’s friend and former work colleague, Whitney Port.
E! News reports that MTV sources have confirmed that shooting on the new project, which was just agreed in the last number of weeks, is set to start immediately.
The series will centre around Port’s new life in New York where she is now working for fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg. Previously she worked in Teen Vogue and The People’s Revolution with Lauren Conrad as featured in ‘The Hills’.
In ‘The Hills’, Port kept her private life away from the cameras where the focus was on Conrad and her life.
