The daughter of Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, Elizabeth, plans to give up modelling in favour of an acting career.

The 24-year-old took to the catwalk at 14 and since then has modelled for a number of major companies including cosmetics firm Lancôme.

Since Mark and Spencer's launched its popular 'Famous Five' TV campaign in 2006, Elizabeth has appeared in the ads alongside Twiggy, Myleene Klass, Noemie Lenoir and Irish model Erin O’Connor.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: "Lizzie's heart is set on acting and she doesn't want to harm her chances of success in Hollywood by being categorised as a 'model-turned-actress'".

Instead, she is heading to New York to attend stage school.
