Oprah Winfrey is the highest-paid TV celebrity and has now been named as the most generous celebrity for the second year in a row.
According to ABC News, Winfrey topped the second annual list gathered by The Giving Back Fund.
The Fund claims the talk show host spent almost €35m in 2007 on The Oprah Winfrey Foundation and Oprah’s Angel Network.
The two charities provide education, health care and support for women and children worldwide.
Musician Herb Alpert followed in second place and Barbra Streisand was named in third place.
The singer/actress donated €7.6m to The Streisand Foundation, whose funds go towards AIDS Research, environmental, women's and civil rights issues.
Fourth place was Paul Newman at almost €7m and Mel Gibson was in fifth with a total donation of €6.8m.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ranked sixth, with donations of €5.8m.
