A friend of former 'X Factor' star Leona Lewis is hoping for victory on the talent show this year.
Duane Lamonte, who is 23, says he met the singing star at a youth club.
At his audition, which will be aired tomorrow night, Lamonte said: "My family and Leona Lewis' family are very close."
"Leona and I went to a youth club together and my family and her family grew up together. So when I saw Leona win the show I thought I want a piece of that."
After his audition, Louis Walsh said: "I think you have really good potential."
Simon Cowell said that he is like a "good old fashioned Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder type of singer".
