The mother of reality television star Jade Goody has promised to "be strong" for her daughter during her cancer battle.
Jackiey Budden told Closer that she is determined to make up for her past mistakes by being there for her daughter when she needs her.
Budden said: "I haven't been perfect, and poor Jade had to grow up much too fast."
"But I'm here for her now, and it's time for me to act like a mother."
"I've got to be strong for Jade. Even though I'm frightened."
