One of the stars of the MTV reality show 'The Hills' has agreed a book deal.
Lauren Conrad will write a young adult fiction series based on her journey from California teenager to celebrity.
The book series is called 'LA Candy' and follows a young woman who moves to Los Angeles and becomes the star of a reality TV show.
Commenting, the 22-year-old said: "I have always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to."
The first book is due next summer.
