Film studios Warner Bros is planning to re-release this summer's blockbuster 'The Dark Knight' during the voting for the Oscars in January.
A studio insider told the Hollywood Reporter: "It's just a matter of bringing it back as a reminder for people."
Warner Bros domestic distribution president Dan Fellman said talks were ongoing about re-releasing the film in IMAX venues in the US, but it is not known if the film would return to conventional cinemas.
'The Dark Knight' has taken approximately $952m worldwide.
