Pete Doherty is to show a previously unreleased homemade movie about his life and play an acoustic set at a special event in an Austrian cinema.
Doherty, 29, will show the footage for the first time at the NonStop Kino in Graz, the cinema owner has said.
According to PA, the film, which was shot by a friend of Doherty’s using an 8mm camera, will be shown several times depending on audience demand before Doherty takes the stage in person.
Bettina Aichbeuer, owner and manager of NonStop Kino, said: "It is private material from Pete Doherty that he filmed by himself. He said he wanted to show it. I have no idea what is in it though or how long it is. It will be a surprise."
Doherty showed his film 'Spew It Out Your Soul' at the same cinema in April 2006, the owner said.
She added: "I'm not worried about him not turning up but you never know with Peter."
