After a tumultuous year, Britney Spears has been speaking about her plans for the future.
In an interview with OK! Magazine, Spears said of her new album: "I'm writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room. This is my best work ever."
The singer said the album would have a "more urban" feel and would be out within the next nine months.
Spears is in negotiations to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards next month.
When asked during the interview if she would like to do more acting, she said: "I'd love to, if I can find the right movie. Actually, I have a part that just came up. We're just trying to work it out with my schedule, with the children."
