It has been reported that federal prosecutors in New York have closed their investigation into the death of actor Heath Ledger.
Ledger died after an accidental overdose of prescription medication in January.
The Associated Press reports that the investigation focussed on how he obtained two painkillers that contributed to his death.
Speaking to the Associated Press an unnamed law enforcement official said the investigation was closed because prosecutors "don't believe there's a viable target".
