'Indiana Jones' star Shia LaBeouf was not to blame for a weekend car crash, police have said.
The accident in the early hours of Sunday morning occurred when the 22-year-old star, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, made a left turn and collided with another vehicle.
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, said: "LaBoeuf has been determined at this stage not to have caused the accident."
He said the other driver failed to stop for a red light and hit the truck which the actor was driving.
LaBeouf was cited for misdemeanour driving under the influence, but police are waiting on the results of toxicology tests before deciding on whether a formal charge will be filed.
In the crash the actor injured his head, knee and hand and later underwent surgery on his hand.
