'Emmerdale's Jo and Sam are reportedly set to see the nasty side of Andy when he sees the pair being affectionate with each other.
According to the show's official website, Andy is unable to control his temper when she sees someone else with his wife Jo.
James Hooton, who plays Sam Dingle in the show, said of his character's feeling towards Jo: "His feelings are largely borne out of protectiveness and a feeling Andy isn't treating her as he should."
"Andy arrives home early and Jo tries to cancel dinner. Sam’s upset and tells her Andy doesn't treat her right. Then tells her he loves her and tries to kiss her."
Jo tells Sam that she loves him as a friend and then kisses him on the forehead to comfort him but Andy isn't pleased when he sees this display of affection and reacts badly.
