'Emmerdale' bosses have denied reports which suggested that "half the cast" would be leaving the show.
According to the show's official website, such rumours are "grossly exaggerated".
An 'Emmerdale' spokesperson said: "This speculation is inaccurate. The cast are not "under review" we are simply undergoing the annual process of confirming contracts for next year, as actors are never contracted beyond 12 months.
"It is the nature of soap that characters come and go and as such, there are a few actors leaving us. But exits can be the driving force for some of the most spectacular storylines in soap.
"They also enable us to bring in some fresh, new characters, which we will be unveiling very soon! It's an exciting time for 'Emmerdale'."
