It has been confirmed that Shannen Doherty will reprise her role as Brenda Walsh in the new 'Beverly Hills, 90210' spin-off series, '90210'.
In 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Brenda went to London to study acting, and became a successful actress and director.
She returns to West Beverly Hills High School to work on her old school's musical production as a guest director.
Also returning for the new series are Doherty's 'Beverly Hills, 90210' co-star Jennie Garth, whose character Kelly Taylor is now a guidance counsellor; Tori Spelling, whose character Donna Martin owns a boutique; and Joe T Tata, whose character Nat still runs the eatery The Peach Pit.
The new series premieres on US television on 2 September.
