More details have emerged about the 'Prison Break' spin-off series, which will be set in a women's prison.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the show's executive producer Matt Olmstead and co-executive producer Zack Estrin have scrapped plans to introduce a new female character in 'Prison Break' who would then become the star of the spin-off series.
Instead, they are planning a completely new series as part of the 'Prison Break' brand.
Estrin explained: "This is more like a 'CSI: NY' - more of a brand spin-off than a character spin-off."
The working title for the show is 'Cherry Hill', but that could change to 'Prison Break: Cherry Hill'.
