Nicole Kidman's sister has spoken about her new niece, describing her as a "beautiful addition" to the family.
Baby Sunday Rose was born yesterday morning and weighed 6lbs 7.5oz.
According to People magazine, Kidman's sister Antonia, who travelled to the US with her mother Janelle for the birth, said: "We're all absolutely thrilled with the new arrival.
"The birth of Nicole and Keith's daughter is such wonderful news and a beautiful addition to our family."
Kidman's husband Keith Urban also released a statement about the baby on his website, saying: "We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers.
"We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."
