Pop singer Kylie Minogue has said that she would still like to be performing when she reaches the age of 50 or 60.
The 40-year-old star told Easy Living magazine that she would like to be on stage, but without her famous hotpants.
Minogue said: "But I won't be wearing hotpants any more.
"A while ago I sang 'I Should Be So Lucky' as a romantic torch song on 'Later... With Jools Holland'.
"Jools accompanied me on the piano, and I can imagine working like that.
"It's difficult to age with dignity in the pop business, but I'd like to think I've managed it so far."
Referring to the possibility of getting married and having children, she said: "...There are days when I think, actually, that's not the right path for me.
"I never really felt I was made for an ordinary life, like a husband and a terraced house in the suburbs."
Minogue also dismissed speculation that she had rekindled her romance with actor Olivier Martinez, describing him as a "good friend".
