Fancy being waited on hand and foot by a brigade of hassled celebrities?

The new RTÉ One series 'Fáilte Towers' is set to offer members of the public the chance to be just that.

'Fáilte Towers' will be a real, fully functioning hotel run by 12 celebrities.

Due to open on 2 August for 16 days in a live special on RTÉ One, the hotel is now taking booking applications.

The show will be presented by Aidan Power and Baz Ashmawy and will feature 12 celebrities battling the heat of the kitchen, the steam of the laundry and the stress of serving actual guests every night.

Viewers, along with the 'Fáilte Towers' panel of expert judges - former presenter and hotelier Bibi Baskin, Sammy Leslie of the renowned Castle Leslie and star chef Derry Clarke of L'Écrivain - will decide which celeb stays and which one gets their marching orders in dramatic nightly evictions.

The full celeb line-up is yet to be revealed, but RTÉ Television and RTÉ 2fm’s 'The Gerry Ryan Show' are asking for members of the public interested in staying at the hotel to log on now to RTÉ.ie and fill out application forms.

Applications are available at: www.rte.ie/tv/failtetowers.

If you wish to stay at Fáilte Towers you should look at the room application form.

Gerry Ryan Show listeners (www.rte.ie/2fm/ryanshow) will have the added opportunity of winning a night in the 'Ryan Room' -which has been specially decorated and approved by Gerry Ryan and is reportedly "the closest thing to spending a night with the man himself..."

Alternatively, members of the public wishing to book an event - be it a stag or hen, a champagne reception or a launch - should fill out the event application form.

The show will be donating to charity and each celebrity will nominate a cause or organisation of their choice.

Judge Bibi Baskin said: "It promises to be a gruelling 16 days and nights at the inn; our celebs will have to serve two meals a day to the Fáilte Towers guests while at the same time manage the various functions that land unexpectedly on their doorstep.

"And our poor celebs won't even get a full night's sleep, thanks to Fáilte Towers fantastic 24-hour room service policy."
