Mischa Barton has replaced 'The Edge of Love' actress Sienna Miller in the new film 'Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain'.
According to Contactmusic.com the 'Alfie' star had been lined up to play the female lead in the film, before the former 'OC' actress was offered the role.
The story follows a young rickshaw puller who gets a menial job at a chemical plant amidst the 1984 Union Carbide chemical spillage in Bhopal, India.
Twenty-two-year-old Barton will now join former 'West Wing' actor Martin Sheen and 'Broken Flowers' star Julie Delpy in the film.
'Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain' is due for release later this year.
