Following her guest appearance at the end of series four, Oscar-nominated actress Amy Ryan is returning to the American version of 'The Office' for the fifth series.
Variety reports that Ryan will reprise her role as human resources executive Holly Flax in at least five episodes of series five.
Her character is described as a "potential love interest for Michael Scott (Steve Carell)".
Ryan is best-known for her role as police officer Beadie Russell in 'The Wire' and was Oscar-nominated this year for her performance in 'Gone Baby Gone'.
