'EastEnders' dog Wellard, who has been in Albert Square since 1994, is set to exit the soap later this year.
According to the show's official website, the dog, who originally lived with Robbie Jackson, will "meet a sticky end" soon.
Wellard has had a number of homes in the Square since he arrived, recently living with Gus, until he left. The dog then returned to the Jackson's home.
Wellard is played by a dog called Kyte, who is the third generation of her family to play the role.
