'Coronation Street's Liam Connor is reportedly set to meet a dramatic end in Weatherfield.
According to The Mirror, the character, played by Rob James-Collier, will be murdered.
The report claims that producers are so keen to keep the exact details of the plot secret that they are planning to film three different exits for Liam.
A show source reportedly said: "Rob actually wanted his character to be killed off - a bit like Phil Middlemiss did when he also wanted the demise of his character, bookie Des Barnes.
"But at the same time it provides us with the fantastic opportunity to give the viewers some sensational TV.
"The producers are rubbing their hands at the prospect of the whole murder scenario."
