'Bruno', Sacha Baron Cohen’s follow-up to the hit comedy spoof movie 'Borat', has been scheduled for release on 15 May, 2009.
The Hollywood Reporter says that like 'Borat', which tracked the misadventures of Baron Cohen's incompetent Kazakh documentary maker in the US, the new film is based on a character played by Baron Cohen.
This time, 'Bruno', a gay Austrian fashion journalist who has appeared in Cohen's TV work, will be the lead and the film will follow his attempts to bring his chat show to America.
According to some reports, the new film may be titled: 'Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt'.
