Simon Cowell is reportedly seeking to recruit Spice Girl Mel B for the judging panel on 'The X Factor'.
According to the News of the World, Cowell wants singer Mel B to replace former judge Sharon Osbourne, who quit the show last week.
A source told the newspaper: "Mel's in pole position to join the judging panel."
The source continued: "She's ideal and Simon Cowell is eager for her to join the team."
Filming for the new series of 'The X Factor' is due to begin on 12 June.
