Shirley Manson, lead singer with the band Garbage, has been cast in the 'Terminator' spin-off series, 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Manson will play Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a high-tech company.
'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' was the highest-rated new scripted series on US TV in the 2007-2008 season.
Lena Headey plays Sarah Connor in the series, with Thomas Dekker playing her son John Connor and Summer Glau the terminator Cameron Phillips.
The new 'Terminator' film has begun shooting in New Mexico.
