Lindsay Lohan has denied reports that she was dropped as the star of an upcoming film about Charles Manson and his gang, insisting that she turned down the role.
Recent reports alleged that 21-year-old Lohan was dropped from appearing in 'Manson Girls' because producers were worried that her party lifestyle might affect shooting.
The role would have been Lohan's first since her critically-panned 2007 movie 'I Know Who Killed Me'.
A representative for Lohan denied that the star had been dropped from 'Manson Girls', claiming that she was too busy with other projects to commit to the film.
Spokesperson Leslie Sloane added: "Unfortunately ('Manson Girls') didn't come together quickly enough, and she was offered other roles, which she accepted and is looking forward to doing."
