Following the official opening of the Light House on Wednesday evening, the Dublin cinema reopened its doors to the public on Friday.

The cinema, which was previously located on Abbey Street, has moved to Smithfield and as well as a café-bar, has four screens which will present a diverse range of Irish, independent, foreign-language, arthouse and classic films.

The first films to screen in the cinema are 'Honeydripper', 'XXY', 'The Diving Bell and the Butterfly', 'My Brother is an Only Child', 'Happy-Go-Lucky' and the Academy Award winning 'Once'.
