It has been reported that Mariah Carey married actor and singer Nick Cannon this week in the Bahamas.
The New York Post reports that the couple were married in a secret ceremony in Carey's house in Eleuthera which was attended by family and friends.
Family member Linda Cannon reportedly told E! News: "He called us and told us all about it."
"We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him."
In Touch Weekly claims that Cannon designed the $2.5m ring he gave the 38-year-old.
Cannon is 11 years Carey's junior and met her when he recently directed a video for the singer's song 'Bye, Bye'.
