'EastEnders' badboy Steven Beale is reportedly set to attempt murder next week when his lies are finally exposed.
According to Digital Spy, Steven, played by Aaron Sidwell, will attempt to smother his grandmother Pat after she discovers that he has been hiding his sister Lucy away while his family have been frantically searching for her.
The report says that Pat is accidentally run over by Roxy Mitchell after she discovers Steven's secret.
While she is in hospital recovering after the accident Steven tries to smother her with a pillow.
An 'EastEnders' source reportedly said: "Steven hits rock bottom when Pat finds out that he's been hiding Lucy for all these weeks while his family have been frantically searching for her."
"He desperately wants Ian all to himself, but when Pat realises that Steven knows where Lucy is, he takes drastic steps to prevent his beloved nan from revealing all to Ian."
Actor Aaron Sidwell is reported to be leaving the show soon.
