Clint Eastwood and Woody Allen will be among the high-profile directors at this year's Cannes film festival.
Unveiling the line-up, Thierry Fremaux, the Cannes Festival Delegate General said the world premiere of Steven Spielberg's 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' would ensure "a magnificent red carpet".
Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and George Lucas are expected to join Spielberg on the red carpet for the premiere.
Another high profile film at the festival will be Allen's 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' starring Scarlett Johansson, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem.
The spotlight will also be on Eastwood's 'The Changeling', starring Angelina Jolie as a woman searching for her missing son in 1920s Los Angeles.
Two other films which will receive a lot of attention focus on charismatic yet troubled sporting legends: James Toback's 'Tyson', about heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson and Emir Kusturica's treatment of soccer legend 'Maradona'.
The 61st Cannes Film Festival will run from 14 to 25 May.
