Bob Dylan has been awarded an honorary Pulitzer Prize.
The legendary star, who released his debut album in 1962, was awarded the Pulitzer for a "profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power".
The 66-year-old was awarded the prize at a ceremony in New York.
This is the first time the award has been given to a rock artist. The prize recognises achievements in journalism, literature and music.
