Former 'Coronation Street' star Tina O'Brien and her soap star boyfriend Ryan Thomas are expecting their first child together.
O'Brien, who plays Sarah Platt in the show, recently took a break from 'Coronation Street' in order to pursue other projects.
Her boyfriend Thomas, who plays builder Jason Grimshaw in the show, was recently at the centre of one of the soap's big storylines after he was accused of pushing Sarah's mother down a stairs.
A spokesperson for the soap confirmed the news, saying: "Ryan and Tina can confirm they are expecting a baby and are absolutely delighted at the happy news."
A source also told The Sun: "The baby wasn't planned, but now the news has sunk in they couldn't be happier."
