Charlotte Church has signed up to become an organ donor and is campaigning to get her family and friends to join her.
The television presenter and mother to six-month-old Ruby voiced her support for organ donation as she met parents of sick children at the Welsh Children's Hospital in Cardiff.
Speaking about organ donation she said: "Having a baby myself, it makes you understand how important it is and how easy it is for us to do."
The singer is persuading her partner, Wales rugby international Gavin Henson, to join her on the organ donation register.
When asked what her advice to prospective donors is, she said: "Just do it. When you die, what are you going to do? If it affected your own family you'd do it without hesitation."
