Limerick singer Leanne Moore is this year's 'You're a Star' winner.

Moore beat Wicklow singer Robyn Kavanagh on the results show, with the other finalist, Cork singer Deirdre Archbold, voted out earlier in the night.

In the final, Moore sang 'Piece of My Heart', 'Run' and 'Let's Stay Together'.

Kavanagh sang 'No One', 'Living for the City' and 'Valerie', with Archbold singing 'Chain Reaction' and 'Show Me Heaven'.

Moore's victory gives her a cash prize of €50,000 and €10,000 worth of music equipment.

Commenting on 'You're a Star', Julian Vignoles, Deputy Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, RTÉ said: "We're delighted with how successful the series was this year. It attracted huge viewership figures for RTÉ One and showcased some new and exciting talents. We wish Leanne the best of luck in the future."
