A spin-off to the much-loved 1990s teen drama series 'Beverly Hills, 90210' is being developed.
The Hollywood Reporter says that 'Veronica Mars' creator Rob Thomas is in talks to write the new series.
The trade daily says it is not known if any of the characters from the original series would feature in storylines for the new show.
The planned series is being developed by the CW Network in the US; it is expected to make a decision by the end of the month on whether a pilot episode will be made.
