Daniel Radcliffe has been awarded two top theatre awards for his West End debut in 'Equus', including one for his naked torso.
The 'Harry Potter' star triumphed at the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' Choice Awards in London's Lyric Theatre.
He was named the West End's Newcomer of the Year and his racy publicity shots, in which he posed naked with a horse and a semi-clad co-star, took the prize for Theatre Event of the Year.
Radcliffe described playing the role of troubled Alan Strang as "one of the greatest experiences of my life".
He said of his awards success: "I'm truly delighted and thank everyone so much for voting for me. 'Equus' is a tremendous and thought-provoking play and I'm so proud and honoured to have been a part of this incredible production."
'Hairspray' dominated the awards with seven wins, including Best New Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Michael Ball and Best Actress in a Musical for Leanne Jones.
Ian McKellen took the award for Best Actor in a Play for his performance as King Lear, while Best Actress in a Play went to Maggie Smith for 'The Lady From Dubuque'.
The supporting actor and actress categories were won by comic Lee Evans for 'The Dumb Waiter' and Diana Rigg for the adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar's 'All About My Mother'.
