Actress Michelle Williams has returned to New York to complete filming on her new movie, just days after the funeral of former partner Heath Ledger in Australia.
The 26-year-old was back on the set of 'Mammoth', which is currently being filmed a few blocks away from where Ledger - the father of her two-year-old daughter Matilda Rose - died.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star, who had been shooting scenes in Sweden when she learnt of her ex-fiancé's untimely death, was spotted shooting additional scenes for her upcoming project yesterday. The film co-stars Gael Garcia Bernal and is directed by Lucas Moodysson.
Over the weekend, Williams was amongst the mourners at Ledger's memorial and funeral service. A wake was then held at Cottesloe Beach, Perth which saw Williams join other mourners, including Ledger’s sister Kate, in taking a cathartic dip in the sea, still fully dressed.
Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on 22 January. He was 28.
Toxicology results released last week revealed he was killed by an accidental overdose of prescribed medications.
