RTÉ has said that a number of text votes received during last Sunday's 'You're a Star' programme on RTÉ One Television were not counted during the final tally.
RTÉ said the fault was a technical one and did not affect the final outcome.
The service provider, Xiam, has accepted full responsibility for the fault, and affected viewers are to be refunded.
