X-Factor winner Leon Jackson wowed fans in his home town last night with his first Scottish performance since winning the show.
The 18-year-old from Whitburn in West Lothian was mobbed by hundreds of teenage fans as he signed copies of his single 'When You Believe' which is tipped for the Christmas Number One this coming Sunday.
Sporting a smart black suit and pointy patent shoes, the former shop assistant met more than 500 ecstatic fans at the Almondvale Shopping Centre in Livingston.
He capped off a high-profile event with a performance of his single in front of a crowd of more than 1,000.
Leon was met by a roaring crowd and teddy bears and underwear were thrown on stage as he sang the ballad to resounding applause.
Lots of youngsters could be seen crying during the signing and the performance and many had made banners saying "We love you Leon".
Some eager fans had even camped out at the shopping centre overnight to ensure they were first in line to meet their hero.
Leon told the crowd: "Thank you so much for this, I was aware this morning that there were people queuing so thanks very much for your support."
