A date has been announced for the next 'American Idol' charity spin-off 'Idol Gives Back'.
Variety reports that the fundraiser will air on US television on 9 April at 8pm.
The line-up for the two-hour show has yet to be announced.
This year's 'Idol Gives Back' show raised $75m for US and African charities.
The new series of 'American Idol' begins on US television on 15 January.
